Hi.Rimohit!
We have not gobios here.
The common practice is "catch and release" when fishing ban or sizes are
smaller than 30 cm.
A look to our fishes you can take in the section "Albumes de Fotos" at left side.
This:

Is a "standard sized" tararira (hoplias malabaricus) a sweet water fish living
in the Delta of Parana.

With us there are limits to size in species. Often we practice "catch and release"
Especially in fresh water.
Fish from the Black Sea are delicious and often take them.
I understand that gobies you think small, but 30 cm goby here is considered to be giant and is extremely rare.

Don´t worry ,nobody is irritated.
Only curious :)
Note:
The specie showed in the thread is "pejerrey" (odonthestes argentinensis).
Pejerrey is the most delicious fish from our shores,and specimens catched by
our specialist Marito are regular (25 to 30 cms).
Monsters taller than 40 cms are singular,named "matungos".
